Service Alert for Route:

• S40 buses are detoured in both directions due to heavy traffic at Goethals Rd/Forest Ave.
  While detoured, eastbound S40 buses will not make stops from Forest Ave/Goethals Rd North to Forest Ave/Lilac Ct.
  Westbound buses will not make stops from Forest Ave/South Ave to Goethals Rd North/Port Authority Admin Lot.
  Buses will make stops as requested along South Ave.
  Note: Bus arrival information may not be available/accurate while buses are detoured.
• All Staten Island local, limited, and express buses are running with delays in both directions while we're recovering from the winter storm.
• S40 buses are detoured in both directions between South Ave at Arlington Place and Richmond Terrace at Arlington Ave.
  For eastbound service, use the stops on South Ave at Brabant St or Richmond Terrace at South Ave.
  For westbound service, use the stops on Richmond Terrace at Grandview Ave or South Ave at Arlington Place.
