Service Alert for Route:

• Reminder: Phase 2 of the Queens Bus Network Redesign goes into effect August 31, 2025
  Current service continues until then, but some signs will reflect future service. Use the MTA app or BusTime to plan your trip.
• Q38 buses are detoured in both directions until approximately 6 AM due to roadwork on Metropolitan Av between Pleasantview St and Fresh Pond Rd.
  Westbound Q38 buses will not make stops from Juniper Valley Rd/71st St to Metropolitan Av/Fresh Pond Rd.
  Eastbound Q38 buses will not make stops from 60th Ln/Metropolitan Av to Juniper Valley Rd/70th St.
  
  While detoured, buses will make stops as requested along Elliot Av and 69th St.
  
  Note:
  Bus arrival information may be inaccurate or unavailable while buses are detoured.
• Southbound Q38 buses will be detoured from 63rd Rd at 108th St to Colonial Ave at 62nd Dr - no stops will be missed
  Buses operate via 108th St, Horace Harding Expressway and Colonial Ave.
